We’re excited to be part of Light Up Maidstone 2026, taking place this weekend, in Maidstone Town Centre.

This free evening of music, lights, and entertainment features a spectacular lantern parade, with hundreds of schoolchildren and local community groups carrying their handmade lanterns from County Hall along Week Street to Jubilee Square, lighting up the town as they go.

The event also launches Maidstone’s town-wide Lantern Trail, running throughout February, and forms part of One Maidstone’s Month of Mental Wellbeing, celebrating community connection, creativity, and support. It’s always a special night to be part of, and we’re looking forward to bringing the samba energy to this beautiful community celebration. 🏮
