Interested in joining?
All are welcome. No previous experience is necessary and we’ll provide you with all the drums and equipment you'll need. Most of our members had never played samba before, but all are encouraged to:
Enjoy plenty of fun in a supportive learning environment
Join in friendly weekly rehearsals
Develop a solid sense of rhythm
Master simple choreography
Perform with the group at gigs
Build energy and fitness (useful for parading uphill playing a drum!)
We strive to perform at a high - but achievable - level in terms of energy, rhythm and choreography. Up for the challenge? We’d love to hear from you!
Our rehearsals take place on Wednesday nights from 19:30 to 22:00 at Mascalls Academy, Maidstone Road, Paddock Wood, Kent TN12 6LT (UK).
We’re excited to confirm that our next round of beginner intake sessions will be going ahead later this year!
We’re still finalising the details, but you can register your interest now to be the first to hear when official sign-ups open.
All previous sign-ups are still registered, so there’s no need to resubmit your details.
Spaces are limited, and places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
If you're an experienced samba player, drummer/percussionist/musician, get in touch with us to find out if you can join the main group directly.
